Health & Safety

Met-Excel takes a proactive approach to health and safety and has recently invested in the online SHE system. This is a full H&S management system and allows for inspection of contract specific information, data and records by our clients via a portal.

At Met-Excel we believe that a safe working environment and safe working practices need to be designed into every operation we carry out. Our workforce is valuable and deserves from us a safe environment to work in with up to date plant, tools and access. Met-Excel will work with you to produce a safe working environment.

Met-excel have stringent policies in place regarding PPE and working practices, our workforce are fully engaged with and committed to these policies.

We believe that a safe system of work needs to be designed into each contract and will work with our customers to achieve this, we are open to suggestions which may help to protect all site personnel and operate an open door policy which welcomes ideas which lead to safer working methods.

Met-Excel are committed to providing the best equipment to our workforce and to monitoring their well being, we have recently introduced a health screening programme for all of our employees.

Met-Excel had one reportable accident during 2007-2009, our operatives worked for a combined total of 99,800 hours.

Met-Excel is a member of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.
